Background

In 2012 the company reported that it is in the process of seeking and acquiring land, environmental clearance, and a coal linkage. It stated that water commitment has been obtained from the Water Resource Department of Maharashtra.[1] An executive summary prepared by Yogiraja Industrial Consultant was prepared in February 2011.[2]

As of April 2014, the Ner tehsil location is no longer mentioned on the Jinbhuvish Power Generations website. It appears that this location has been abandoned. Instead, the company is focused on a different location in Yavatmal district where it continues to pursue the Bijora power station.
