Countrywide Porter Novelli (CPN) is the UK affiliate of Porter Novelli International which is a part of the Omnicom Group.

According to the company's website CPN is "the UK's fifth largest Public Relations consultancy. As a full service consultancy, our work ranges from communications strategy development and crisis management to product launches and brand building. We have specialist consultants in areas such as financial services, healthcare and technology as well as expertise in consumer and business communications." [1]

Clients

Since approximately 1998 Porter Novelli has had a contract with the Almond Board of California to promote almonds in western Europe. In early 2004 PR Week reported Proter Novelli's UK office - Countrywide Porter Novelli - won a £450,000 contract to sell the nutritional benefits of almonds focussing on healthcare professionals. CPN director, Keith Taylor told PR Week, health professionals are "key influencers on consumers"'. According to Taylor there is "a great bed of evidence about the health benefits of consuming almonds". [2]
