Dave Johnson is the founder and principal author at Seeing the Forest. "He is on the Board of Directors of Media Transparency and The People Choose 2006, and is an advisor to The Philanthropy Network He participated in two panels, Building Progressive Infrastructure and Ethics, Corruption and Movement Politics, at the recent YearlyKos conference in Las Vegas. He was a credentialed blogger at the 2004 Democratic National Convention and was an MSNBC 'Hardblogger' for 2004 election coverage. A regular blogger at Huffington Post and The Patriot Project, he has been a member of the American Street team, and a contributor at many other sites, including AlterNet, MyDD, DailyKos, BuzzFlash, Smirking Chimp and Common Dreams," his Seeing the Forest bio states.
