"A resident of Bangalore, India, and chairman of the 6th World Wilderness Congress (India), Mr. Sarathy has a background of 35 years in conservation around the world. He is currently chairman of the World Wilderness Trust, trustee of the World Wildlife Fund-India, chairman emeritus, IUCN Commission on Education (Switzerland), and chairman of the Urban Art Commission, Government of Karnataka.
