Consumer Reports WebWatch is the Internet integrity division of Consumers Union. WebWatch was founded in 2001 with almost $5 million in grants from The Pew Charitable Trusts and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. WebWatch uses investigative reporting, research and establishment of best practices guidelines to accomplish its mission of improving the credibility of Web sites.
