Identifying the champions of coal
There are people in lobbying, public relations, advertising, journalism, politics, unions, company directorships and industry associations who promote the continued use of coal (perhaps indirectly by refusing to support measures that would limit emissions) in spite of its emissions of greenhouse gasses and its contribution go global warming and associate melting of the arctic ice, melting of Greenland ice caps, sea level rise, bushfires, drought and ultimately starvation, and later climate migration and security issues.
