Pentakota power station is a 150 megawatt (MW) coal plant proposed by Namratha Bizili Private Limited (NBPL) in Andhra Pradesh. In December 2011, The Hindu reported that the plant had been placed on hold "because of agitations at Sompeta and Kakarapalli."[1]
