Gunipudi power station (NBPL proposal) is a 300 megawatt (MW) coal plant proposed by Namratha Bizili Private Limited (NBPL), a subsidiary of Suryachakra Power Corporation in Andhra Pradesh.[1] In December 2011, The Hindu reported that the plant had been placed on hold "because of agitations at Sompeta and Kakarapalli."[2]
