The map below shows Kakinada, whcih is near the village of Ontimavadi, the approximate location where the plant would be built.

Background

The project is not mentioned on the GMR Energy website. However, a Term of Reference (ToR) was issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forests for the project on April 27, 2010.[1][2]
