Background on Plant

Kryvorizka power station is an eight-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 2,328 MW. Units 7 and 9 have been mothballed, and units 8 and 10 are planned for retirement. The plant was completed between 1963 and 1972, and is owned by DTEK.[1]
