John Davis is a veteran political operative. He's worked on the congressional campaign of Florida's Connie Mack III, as well as Senators Howard Baker and Bob Dole. Davis subsequently became a senior vice president at Burson-Marsteller, where he served as a member of B-M's greenwashing Environmental Practice Group. In 1994, Davis became a founding member of the Reston, VA-based PR firm State Affairs Company.
