Martin Jacques

Jacques was the editor of Marxism Today (then the 'theoretical journal' of the Communist Party of Great Britain )at the crucial period when it abandoned the 'old fashioned' left and started the drift towards the market which culminated in the 'New Labour' project.

Jacques was later assocated with New Labour think tank Demos.
