"Alliance to Stabilize Our Population (A STOP), formerly known as Alliance for a Sustainable USA and Diversity Alliance for a Sustainable America, is a national organization which uses various avenues to inform the media, policy-makers, opinion leaders, and other individuals of diverse backgrounds about the consequences of continued rapid U.S. population growth on problems concerning our multiracial community. It also urges hundreds of billionaires in developing nations to work with their local leaders to curb their population growth and improve life for their own citizens. A STOP has uniquely cost-effective proposals to help stabilize worldwide population as well." [1]
