Aksu Xuzhou power station (徐矿集团新疆阿克苏电厂一期热电联产项目) is a 400-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Plant

The two existing coal-fired units of Aksu Xuzhou power station, totaling 400 MW, were brought online in 2011. The plant is owned by Xuzhou Mining Group.

Description of Expansion

Xuzhou Mining Group was planning to build two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total capacity of 1,320 MW, by 2014-2015.

It became known as the Xinjiang Kuche Ehuobulake Pithead power station.
