Fred Rotondaro

"Fred Rotondaro is currently a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., where he concentrates on issues of poverty and race. Before joining the Center, he served for 22 years as the Executive Director of the National Italian American Foundation. He has been a journalist, university professor, and Executive Director of the York County, Pa, anti-poverty agency. Fred is a board member of the Washington, DC Urban League, the International Review of African American Art, the national Colonial Farm, the Faith and Public Policy Institute and the advisory councils of the Arab American Institute and of the Catholic Alliance for the Common Good. Fred earned a B.S in English and philosophy from the University of Scranton, an MA in English from Creighton University and a Ph.D in American studies from New York University. He also received an honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Wheeling College." [1]
