"Anglo Asian is an AIM quoted, cash generative and profitable gold and copper mining and exploration company with a prospective portfolio which spans 1,962 sq km in Azerbaijan. The Company moved into gold production in May 2009 at its flagship Gedabek gold/copper mine located in western Azerbaijan. The mine, which is an open pit, heap and agitation leach operation, produced 52,068 ounces of gold for the last full year of operation to 31 December 2013. Gedabek has a JORC compliant resource of 1.12M oz Au in the Measured and Indicated Category and a JORC Reserve estimate of 744,038 oz Au both Proven and Probable." [1]
