Daihai-3 power station is a proposed 1,200-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

The map below shows the location of the existing Daihai-1 and -2 power station, at the Daihai Sea, in Liangcheng County, Ulanqab (Wulanchabu) Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1] Daihai-3 would be located adjacent to these existing units.

Background on Project

Sichuan Beineng is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,200 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The adjacent Daihai Phases I & II, totaling 2,400 MW, are owned by Beijing Energy Investment.[2][3]
