Jacob Henry de Villiers Botha, Executive Director of Pan-African Capital Holdings (since 2006). CV

In 2002 he completed tha Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France. He is a former Executive Committee member of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (1988-98).

"De Villiers Botha, Executive Director: De Villiers Botha registered as a professional engineer in 1976. He also attended the AMP from INSEAD, France. He spent a year in construction and three years in consulting before joining local government as a City Engineer, where he gained 13 years of hands on experience. He also held the position of Director of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers for 3 years. He joined the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) in 1988, first as a Consultant, and was then appointed as a Divisional Manager (External Human Resource and Urban Development). In 1991 he became the Group Manager of the Urban Development Group after the restructuring of the Bank in 1993, was appointed as General Manger. Between 1996 and 2002 he was appointed as the Executive Manager: Operations and more recently as the Executive Manager responsible for Strategic Initiatives. During the 17 years at the Bank he has gained extensive experience in project finance, strategic and project management and change management. De Villiers Botha previously held the position of COO of the Development Bank of Southern Africa. " [1]
