"In his 35-year path-breaking career, Gene has held several leadership positions including: Co-Founder, Chairman and Director of Nutritional Laboratories, International, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of premium quality, nutritional and dietary supplement products; Chairman of The Empowerment Network Foundation (TEN), funded by the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations to provide technical support to resident management organizations and residents in public housing throughout the United States; and a board member of the Friends of Zambia, a U.S. based organization established to promote knowledge and understanding of Zambia in order to encourage business investment and development, and support for education and welfare among Zambia’s people.
"He currently serves as Chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies Agency Management Committee, the American Association of Advertising Agencies Operation Success Diversity Advisory Board and is a member of the AAAA Government Relations Committee, as well as serving on the Board of Governors for the AAAA’s Mid-Atlantic Council. He is also Vice Chairman and Director of Women in Community Service (WICS), a 40 year old, national coalition of women working within their communities against prejudice, intolerance and discrimination.
