Enecogen power station is a 870 MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) station in Pistoolhaven in Rotterdam's Europoort industrial area, Netherlands.

Background
The power station is owned by Enecogen, a partnership between utilities Eneco Energie and Dong Energy, each with a 50% stake. Construction of the plant started in May 2009 and began commercial operation in late 2011.[1]
C.Gen originally planned for the power station to be fueled by coal.[citation needed]
