Background on Plant
In 2012 China Datang was planning a 400 MW coal-fired plant in Fuxin city.[1]
However, by 2014 there had been no developments on the project, which was apparently abandoned. Instead, Datang began building a 4 billion cubic meter/year coal gasification plant in Fuxin, which the company has been trying to sell.[2]
As of 2018 China Datang is still owner of the coal gasification plant, with 190 MW of coal-fired power supporting the gasification. 130 MW of that capacity is under construction.[3]
