Background on Project
Hebei Weizhou Power Resources was planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW in Hebei Province.[1]
Plans were proposed in 2005, along with the Hebei Datang Weixian power station.[2] However, plans for the Hebei Weizhou power station have not progressed and appear to be cancelled.
