Hermes Consolidated, Inc., a Denver, CO company, is better known by its d/b/a Wyoming Refining Company of Newcastle, WY. Among other petroleum production clients, Hermes provides jet fuel to the Department of Defense. Its Wyoming Refining is a repeat environmental polluter. The Public Interest Research Group also shows Wyoming Refining as contributing a reported total of $7,000 to both House and Senate political campaigns between 1997 and 2000.
Jay A. Precourt, a member of the Halliburton Company Board of Directors, is Chairman of the Board of Hermes Consolidated, Inc. since 1999. Both Scissor Tail and Hermes gather, transport, and process crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids.
