Heshan Coal Mine (山西汾西正新煤焦有限责任公司和善煤矿) is located in the Fenxi Mining Area of Jinzhong Coal Base in Shanxi Province. It is an integration project with an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tonnes(Mt) per year.

Coal Mine Background

Heshan Coal Mine project was founded through integrating three coal companies, namely Shanxi Qinyuan Heda Coal Industry Co., Qinyuan Huapo Coal Co., and Qinyuan Shanpu Coal Co.[1]

On April 13th, 2011, the construction of Heshan Coal Mines was approved by the Shanxi Provincial Coal Industry Bureau.On November 21st. 2018, Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau approved the project to begin experimental operation.[2]
