Huaneng Hohhot power station (华能北方联合电力丰泰热电公司) is a 1,100-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Plant

The plant is owned by China Huaneng. Huaneng Hohhot power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,100 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The six units of Hohhot-1, totaling 174 MW, have been retired. Hohhot-2 Units 1 & 2, totaling 400 MW, were completed in 2000.[1][2] Hohhot-2 Units 3 & 4, totaling 700 MW, were completed in 2011.[3][4]
