Huadian Baotou Tuyou power station (华电包头土右发电分公司) is a 1,320-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project

China Huadian is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The units were permitted in 2014,[1] and construction began that year.[2][3]

The power station was completed in 2016.[4]

Expansion

China Huadian eventually plans for an additional six units of 1,000 MW each.[1][3]
