Huadian Baotou Tuyou power station (华电包头土右发电分公司) is a 1,320-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project

China Huadian is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The units were permitted in 2014, and construction began that year.

The power station was completed in 2016.

Expansion

China Huadian eventually plans for an additional six units of 1,000 MW each.
