Background on Project

In 2012, WRI reported that China Huadian is planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 6,000 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1] However, there is no further evidence of such a project, and it appears to have been a speculative proposal.
