Hohhot Jinqiao power station (华能北方联合电力呼和浩特金桥热电厂) is a 600-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Plant

The two existing coal-fired units of Hohhot Jinqiao power station, totaling 600 MW, were brought online in 2007. The plant is owned by China Huaneng.

Description of Expansion

Huaneng was planning to build additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total planned capacity of 600 MW.

However, those plans were halted due to cash flow problems.
