Huaneng Xilinguole Wulagai power station (华能锡林郭勒乌拉盖) was a proposed 5,200-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project

China Huaneng was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 5,200 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, according to China's Twelfth Five-Year Plan 16 (2011). The plant is translated as Huaneng North Gol Ulgai in Chinese.

However, there have been no reports of further activity to develop those plans, and they appear to be shelved or abandoned.
