Huaneng Ningxia Weizhou power station (华能宁夏韦州综合利用发电厂) is a proposed 600-megawatt (MW) waste coal-fired power plant in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China.

The map below shows the location of Weizhou Town (Weizhouzhen), the approximate location where the plant would be built in Tongxin County, Wuzhong Prefecture, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
Background on Project
In 2010 China Huaneng and Ningxia Power Generation Group proposed to build a waste coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 600 MW in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.[1]
However, there have been no developments on this project, and it appears to be abandoned.
