The Israel Corporation "is Israel’s largest holding company and a global player with core holdings in fertilizers and specialty chemicals, energy, shipping and transportation." [1] It manufactures fertilizers and flame retardants under its Israel Chemicals Limited, or ICL, divisions.
According to a MERIP report published in 1974, the Israel Corporation was founded in 1968; Baron Edmond de Rothschild is the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Sam Rothberg and Tibor Rosenbaum are members of the Board. [2]
