James M. Follo "became senior vice president and chief financial officer for The New York Times Company in January 2007.

"Before joining the Times Company, Mr. Follo served as chief financial and administrative officer of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. from 2001 to 2006, and as senior vice president, finance and controller from 1998 to 2001. From 1994 to 1998, he was with General Media International, Inc., a diversified publishing company, first as vice president, finance and operations, and later becoming executive vice president, CFO and treasurer. Before that Mr. Follo was with Grant Thornton, an independent public accounting firm, from 1984 to 1994, leaving as a senior audit manager.

"Mr. Follo received a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1981. He is a certified public account and a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Board of Directors of HSN, Inc." [1]
