Jimusaer Color Bay power station (华威和田投资吉木萨尔五彩湾) was a proposed 2,000-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project

According to WRI's 2012 "Coal Risk Assessment" study, Beijing Huawei Hetian Investment and Zhongmu Company are currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 2,000 MW in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.[1] However, since no further reports can be found of this plant, it appears that the project has been shelved or abandoned.
