The Jindal power station (Senegal) is a proposed 350-megawatt (MW) coal-fired plant in Senegal. There have been no developments in four years and the project is presumed to be cancelled.

Background
India's Jindal Power and SENELEC, the Senegalese state owned electricity company, signed a PPA relating to a power plant project in Senegal of 350 MW on February 6, 2015.[1]
At the time of the signing the feasibility study was reported as completed and land acquisition under way. The plant would use imported coal. EPC tender documents are planned to be issued by December 2015.[2]
As of December 2017 there have been no developments on the project. A May 2017 document suggests that, for Senegal to reach its climate goals (INDC), the Jindal coal plant may be replaced with two combined-cycle LNG (CCGN) power plants totaling 400 MW (2020: 200 MW and 2028: 200 MW).[3]
