Background

The project was approved by the State Investment Planning Board in March, 2007; however, according to an update on the Bihar State Electricity Board website, "Progress has not been reported by the firm."[1] It appears that the project has been abandoned by its sponsor, Cement Manufacturing Company Ltd.. The project is not mentioned on the website of the company.[2]
