Karl W. Carter, Jr. "is graduate of Tennesse State University where he received a BA in Sociology and JD from the Howard University School of Law in 1963 and 1970 respectively. Mr. Carter was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1972 and is a member of the bar of the US Supreme Court. Mr. Carter was appointed by the President of the United States to the President's Commission on Campus Unrest. Mr. Carter also served as a member of the District Of Columbia's Public Employee Relations Board by the Mayor of The District of Columbia. Mr. Carter has practice Civil Rights Law for more than two decades in the District of Columbia." [1] Married to Cynthia Jacobs Carter.
