Background

In 2012 the company reported that it is in the process of seeking and acquiring land, environmental clearance, and a coal linkage. It stated that water commitment has been obtained from the Water Resource Department of Maharashtra. An executive summary prepared by Yogiraja Industrial Consultant was prepared in February 2011.

As of April 2014, the Ner tehsil location is no longer mentioned on the Jinbhuvish Power Generations website. It appears that this location has been abandoned. Instead, the company is focused on a different location in Yavatmal district where it continues to pursue the Bijora power station.
