Prof Lee W. Huebner

"Director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. (USA). He was formerly a professor at Northwestern University and has also served as Chief Executive Officer of the International Herald Tribune in Paris for fourteen years. He joined the board in December 1995. Prof. Huebner is the Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee and serves on the Nominations Committee." [1]

"Huebner was a co-founder and president of the Ripon Society, a political research organization. He also worked as a special assistant to the President of the United States and deputy director of the White House writing and research staff during the Nixon administration. A former president of the American University of Paris and of the American Chamber of Commerce in France, he has served on newspaper boards in Hong Kong and Kenya and chairs the Center for the Study of International Communication in Paris. He has published in a variety of fields and is completing a book on globalization and the media." [2]
