General Lew Allen, Jr., USAF (Ret.) served on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board during the William Jefferson Clinton Administration (1993-1995).
"General Allen, of Pasadena, California, served as Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Director of the National Security Agency. He retired in 1991 as a Vice President of the California Institute of Technology and Director of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He was [also] a member of President George Herbert Walker Bush's PFIAB."[1]
