Biographical Information

"Lord Ahmad is a Conservative Peer in the UK Parliament. He was born and educated in London and is currently serving as Director of Marketing & Strategy at the trading and commodities firm, Sucden Financial, in the City of London. He has had a varied 20 year business career in the City and financial services, complemented by his direct involvement in community and charitable projects, both in the UK and internationally, as well as an active role in public life. He has held elected office locally and regionally in London and was also Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party between 2008-2010. He is currently involved on development and trade initiatives working closely with British based NGOs."[1]
