Background on Project

SGCC and Jizhong Energy were planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. However, Luneng left the industry in 2012 and its assets were transferred to Shenhua. This project, along with others from the Luneng era, appears to have been abandoned.
