Former in 1971, "Our home base is at Meditation Mount, a sacred site on 32 acres of land at the east end of the Ojai Valley in Southern California. Since then the Mount has provided learning opportunities through classes, dialogues, weekend workshops, theme-specific retreats, online programs and materials, study groups and community forums. The Mount is operated by Meditation Groups, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. MGI’s mission is to promote the building of an enlightened and compassionate world through the power of creative meditation, inspirational educational programs, and community-based events. As extension, MGI is the inspiration and the organization behind the development of Meditation.com. " [3]
