In December 2009 the Yuanda Group and New Asia Mining Group announced that they had signed a contract with the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mongolia to construct the Mogoin gol power station comprising two 30 megawatt generating units near the mine. The Chinese company, CMEC Corporation, is a contractor for the construction work. The $US110 million project is scheduled to be commissioned by early 2012.[1]
