Biography

"Mr. Paul Sykes serves as the Chief Financial Officer at DMG Events (USA) Inc. Mr. Sykes serves as the Chief Financial Officer at DMG Information. He joined DMG Information in 1997. He previously worked at KPMG and gained experience in auditing and other areas of finance while also qualifying for membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Mr. Sykes then joined Emap plc, initially in the role of a Financial Controller of the Media Group's Magazine Distribution Division before moving into a central role to develop the group's treasury function. As a Group Treasurer, he had extensive involvement in a wide range of both equity and debt fund raising transactions and many media related acquisitions and divestments in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Mr. Sykes moved to the United States in 2000 reflecting the investment emphasis on the United States. and the geographic spread of the businesses following several significant acquisitions. He serves as the Chairman of both Environmental Data Resources and Landmark Information Group. He serves as a Member of the Board at DMG Information. He serves as a Director of Genscape, Inc. He has been a Director of BuildFax, Inc. since 2009. He is a Member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the United Kingdom Association of Corporate Treasurers. Mr. Sykes received a B.Sc. in Economics from Leicester University."
