Background on Plant
Qinyang Jianghuai power station was a two-unit coal-fired power plant totaling 110 MW in capacity. The plant was completed in 1997. It is owned by ChemChina.[1]
Unit 1 retired in 2018. Unit 2 will shut down after the Jiaozuo Danhe power station is commissioned, planned for 2020.[2]
