Sir Richard Jolly "was the Director of IDS (1972-81) before joining UNICEF as Deputy Executive Director for Programmes (1982-95). He was the architect of UNDP’s Human Development Report for five years. Since 2000, back at IDS as a Research Associate, working on human development and on the UN Intellectual History." [1]
