Pentakota power station is a 150 megawatt (MW) coal plant proposed by [[Namratha Bizili Private Limited]] (NBPL) in Andhra Pradesh. In December 2011, The Hindu reported that the plant had been placed on hold "because of agitations at Sompeta and Kakarapalli."<ref name="Twelve"/>
