Environment Clearance is under process."<ref name="Company"/> According to a December 2011 report in The Hindu Business Line, the Ministry of Environment and Forests deferred clearance of the plant. According to the report, "the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) under teh MoEF is of the opinion that the project may fall within the buffer area of Sanjay Gandhi Tiger Reserve area, proposed to be set up in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh.
