==Opposition==
According to media reports, residents of Guntupalli, Kethanakonda, Kotikalapudi and other villages near the plant site have resolved to oppose the project. Residents charge that the existing plant has damaged more than 5,000 acres of crops. Residents were preparing to air their grievances at a January 2014 public hearing residents.<ref name=opposition>V.
