==Coal to natural gas==
A new 1,640-megawatt CCGT plant is planned to be built on 400 acres of land adjacent to the company’s Crystal River complex and would start producing electricity in 2018. The gas plant was completed in November 2018, and the coal-fired units retired at the end of December 2018.<ref name=hd/>
